The Northern Neck Soil & Water Conservation District (NNSWCD) has ten Directors and five nonvoting Associate Directors.
Of the Directors, eight are elected, two from each of the four counties, and two Directors are appointed. One of the appointed Directors must be a Virginia Cooperative Extension agent.
The Board meets monthly to conduct and oversee District business. These meetings are public and the Board encourages attendance by sending meeting notices to local newspapers. Meetings are typically held the second Wednesday of each month with the exception of June and December.
